SERVICE ENGINEER OR SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are hiring for our client located in São Paulo:

SERVICE ENGINEER OR SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Activities:

·       Inspection, commissioning, maintenance and repair work on equipment at sites through South America or as required;

·       Provide client training on day-to-day operation and routine maintenance of equipment both onsite and in office;

·       Provide front line technical support response to clients within South America;

·       Support the Regional Sales Manager making contact with clients and site end users to assist in the sale of Aftersales products and services;

·       Prepare a debrief on return from site;

·       Attend training in Australia as needed to stay current on company systems, and to build knowledge on new systems as they are deployed;

·       Ensure all relevant safety policy and regulations are followed at all times;

Required:

·       Be an expert on the troubleshooting, maintenance and operations ;

·       Understand client expectations and proactively manage outstanding issues in line

·       Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively with both internal and external clients.

·       Extensive electrical, instrumentation systems experience including PC, PLC & software combined with basic mechanical skills including site work;

·       Relevant trade or engineering qualifications;

·       Experience in leading a small team, preferable onsite

·       A demonstrated ability to work independently;

·       Advanced English;

·       Experience in oil & gas, materials handling or marine industries is desirable, but not essential;

This position can be to work in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
