Our client is seeking a GEOSCIENCE SPECIALIST to work within their facilities located in RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ.

Job Objective:

·         Elaborate the characterization and 3D geological modeling of oil and/or gas reservoirs, volume estimation, aiming to contribute in studies of petroleum fields, through geological, seismic and petrophysical interpretations.

Responsibilities:

·         3D geological modeling of oil and/or gas reservoirs. Volumes and risks evaluation. D&M reporting

·         Reservoir characterization, rock-log correlation, reservoir data integration.

·         Discovery Evaluation Plans (PADs) preparing.

·         Core description.

Required Qualification:

·         BSC in Geology or Geophysics

·         Master in Geology, Petrophysics, Geophysics . (Minimum)

·         Knowledge related to different areas of geoscience, such as: stratigraphy, petrophysics (cores and logs), sedimentology, seismics, petrography.

·         Solid and proved experience acting mainly as a reservoir and development geologist, responsible for reservoir characterization, rock-log-seismic correlation, reservoir data integration and 3D geological modeling of petroleum reservoirs.

·         Fluent English.

Computer Skills:

·         Microsoft Office pack (standard).

·         Petrel (specialized): over 5 years

·         SAS, Statistical Analysis System (specialized)
