Our client is seeking an LOGISTICS COORDINATOR to work in a Major Operator located in RIO DE JANEIRO.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain an offshore operations logistics plan that will cater for  offshore operations such as offshore drilling and completion activities, offshore installation activities, and offshore production activities
• Develop an inventory management plan to ensure materials requirement for operations are available in a timely manner with minimum error, meet the predetermined turnover ratio and these are stored and preserved in a safe and efficient manner as per storage standard.
• Managing the resources, to ensure the achievement of operations effectiveness, accuracy, productivity, cost consciousness, timeliness, respecting available regulations/procedures/norms and focus on safety and environmental matters.
• Optimize Logistic costs and resources, based on activity planning and scheduling.

Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in technical field.

·         Solid experience in logistics areas of oil and gas industry, especially offshore operations.

·         Experience in managerial level.

·         Fluent English.

·         Desirable knowledge of Spanish.

• Understand technical, organizational, managerial and business issues related to project and operations management.
• Understand project delivery processes and their relationship to Procurement procedures.
• Deep understanding and experience in modes of transport (offshore vessels, helicopters and other air/sea transportation) in domestic and international markets, including the relative costs and benefits.
• Significant understanding of commercial procurement, contract laws, practices and standards.
