Our client is seeking a PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTORS COORDINATOR to work in a an operator located in RIO DE JANEIRO.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all activities associated with E&P and Logistics Contracts including Contract Development, Evaluation, Negotiations and award for, thereby ensuring minimization of risk, and that RSB’s best interests are served at all times.
• Lead the tendering, evaluation, vendor selection and contract award process.
• Develop and implements the procurement plan and contracting strategy for approval by project management.

Managerial Activities:

• Perform contracts management, pre award, post award and close out functions
• Direct and coordinate activities of team members engaged in executing procurement processes. Monitoring and controlling the resources.
• Liaising among suppliers, relevant internal departments and customers.
• Updating and using relevant knowledge to continuously improve the group´s performance and the processes.

Required:

·         Bachelor’s Degree;

·         Solid experience in contracts and purchasing, with experience in dealing with drilling contractors;

·         Experience in managerial level;

·         Fluent English;

·         Desirable knowledge of Spanish.

·         Solid knowledge of ERP and standards working softwares: Microsoft Office and Project.

·         Knowledge of Business and Management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling.
