Our client, an Oil & Gas Operator, is seeking a SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER to work within their facilities located in BAHIA.

Knowledge of theoretical reservoir engineering methods and the underlying physics.
·
Solid experience on the following areas:

Coordinating integrated
field reviews and field development plans
-
Carrying out and supervising numerical
reservoir modelling and
simulation studies using standard industry tools
-
Selecting optimum recovery methods for a wide range of reservoir and fluid characteristics
-
Multi-layered
reservoir development
-
Optimizing
water injection projects in mature on-shore fields
-
Selecting optimum
well configurations and completions for a range of reservoir conditions and processes
-
Field optimization applications through horizontal wells implementation
-
Building a ranked portfolio of field (re-)development opportunities using relevant economic parameters
-
A
structured approach towards and guiding the organization with the
introduction of fit-for-purpose technology (not previously used in the
company)
-
Preparing adequate reservoir engineering input into drilling and work-over proposals and programs
-
Preparing and implementing well and reservoir management plans
-
Production database implementation and usage, preferable with knowledge of OFM software
-
A passion for and a proven track record with the development of young discipline staff
-
Working with and integrating the efforts of multidisciplinary teams
